Any idea how I transport wine?

I would like to transport 1case (12 1lt bottles) of wine from Vancouver B.C to Toronto for a family engagement. I am unable to carry it as carry on laugage and was told I can only bring 5bottles at my own risk of breakage with laugage. I would very much like to take the whole case...any ideas how I can do this? thanks in advance.
