Will the liberal media spend the next few months thru Nov 2 in damage control mode for Obama and the DNC?

He has attempted to improve his approval ratings with the drill policy announced this week. What he is not telling is that unless Congress acts to remove the moratorium against it, that will not happen. It is doubtful that Congress will have the stomach to cross swords with the environmentalists. They believe that any political capital owned by them was spent on health care legislation. This will be a political football until November and then likely shoved on the back burner only to be forgotten. Congressional members will reure the environmental lobby that they will not open up drilling while Obama will keep saying that he is working on it.
