Why did this mouse die? Please help, I feel terrible?

Sounds like your mouse died of fright. I have pet mice too. I avoid handling them because they are such delicate little beings and I am so big. I'm sorry your mouse died. But the vet is right, her little heart couldnt handle the stress of being handled. :(
