100 watts incandescent bulb and 100 watts compact fluorescent lamp.Do they use equal amount of electricity ?

They don't make a 100W fluorescent - it is equivalent to 100W supposedly. Usually about 16 Watts. They don't give out as much light. But obviously use about 1/6 of the electricity.
