For people who believe that death..?

and nirvana is just "floating around without a purpose" and so want to be reincarnated over and over to stay on this earth... what about the idea that our limited human minds cannot grasp what exactly is heaven or an afterlife or nirvana or whatever you want to call it...don't you think it's very possible that when we finally do get "there", our fleshless consciousness will be completely different from what we perceive as humans? That what we think as purposeful now, would be meaningless in that state?
