How hard/easy is it to switch to boon?

Hi, I've played piano for 11 years and french horn for 6. I've always wanted to play boon but really only seriously started thinking about it now. I already read b clef from piano so it would really be an embouchure switch. I also have pretty small hands (I can play octaves on the piano comfortably but I can barely reach a ninth). How hard/easy would playing boon be? Thanks,
