Help! im an 18 year old student who is teaching for the first time today?

I worked as a teachers' aide right out of high school. I was working at a tech school for an automotive professor, the best way to show people you aren't bluffing is to be confident, and do the task you're teaching them smoothly. If they see you do it, and you obviously know what you're doing, they'll have faith.
