Help! i have a philosophy ignment about Taoism and "the uncarved block"?

Alrighty, so we learned about Taoism and the ucarved block and my philosophy teacher gave us all a block of wood and told us we are going to present them. I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do with it. I understand what Taoism is, but it requires me to think simple. I can't. Can anybody give me any advice?
